Without a map any road will do. Old Man Winter taught me that. Preservation first was born from loss. The complete recording transcripts had not been preserved the way they should have been. A story can be visible and still be temporary. A file can exist and still be incomplete. Visibility is not preservation. A summary is not the story. Done is a verified condition not a feeling. The Estate needed a source of truth. The Master Manuscript does not exist to make the Estate feel official. It exists so the story can survive without the storyteller. Legacy is built through ordinary acts of stewardship. Protect today's work so tomorrow's builder can find it. Keep brewing.
