Finding Your Anchor: What Holds You Steady
Every person carries an inner conversation no one else can hear. What I learned about that inner conversation became one of the most powerful tools I ever discovered. A small setback became proof that everything was falling apart. One unexpected bill became evidence of a terrible mistake. The spiral does not happen all at once. It spirals. One discouraging thought invites another. Then another. Before long we have convinced ourselves the whole story is over. The question that changed everything: Is this thought helping me brew hope or stealing it? One better thought can redirect an entire day. Not the perfect thought. Not the happiest thought. A better one. Hope is the anchor for the soul. An anchor does not stop the storm. It prevents the drift. You do not need to find one perfect anchor. You need enough to hold in different seasons. Keep brewing.
